Abstract

|
목적: 본 연구는 요양병원 간호사의 임파워먼트, 감염관리 조직문화, 감염관리 인지도가 감염관리 수행도에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 시행되었다.
방법: 부산광역시와 경상남도 소재 4개 요양병원에 6개월 이상 근무 중인 간호사 125명을 대상으로 수행한 서술적 조사연구로, 자료수집은 2021년 9월 30일부터 10월 28일까지 수행되었으며, IBM SPSS/WIN 26.0 프로그램으로 t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, Stepwise multiple regression을 실시하였다.
결과: 감염관리 수행도는 임파워먼트(r=.36, p<.001), 감염관리 조직문화(r=.51, p<.001), 감염관리 인지도(r=.75, p<.001)에서 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 다중회귀분석 결과 감염관리 인지도(β=.70, p<.001)가 가장 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 감염관리 수행도에 대한 임파워먼트, 감염관리 인지도, 감염관리지침 인지 여부 변수의 설명력은 60.0%였다.
결론: 연구결과는 다양한 요인이 요양병원 간호사의 감염관리 수행도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 추후 요양병원 간호사의 감염관리 수행도를 향상시키기 위해 임파워먼트와 감염관리 인지도를 높이기 위한 프로그램 개발과 적용이 필요하다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of empowerment, infection control organizational culture, and infection control awareness on infection control performance among nurses in long-term care hospitals.
Methods: A descriptive survey study was conducted with 125 nurses as subjects who had been working for at least six months in four long-term care hospitals located in Busan metropolitan city and Gyeongsangnam-do Province. Data were collected from September 30 to October 28, 2021 and analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 26.0.
Results: The results showed that infection control performance had significant correlations with empowerment (r=.36, p<.001), infection control organizational culture (r=.51, p<.001), and infection control awareness (r=.75, p<.001). Multiple regression analysis for infection control performance revealed that the most powerful predictor was infection control awareness (β=.70, p<.001). Empowerment, infection control awareness and awareness of infection control guidelines explained approximately 60.0% of the variance in infection control performance.
Conclusion: Findings indicated that various factors are related to the infection control performance among nurses in long-term care hospital. Based on the results of this study, further development and application of the programs to enhance empowerment and infection control awareness are needed in order to improve the infection control performance of nurses in long-term care hospitals.
